Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to all products and services sold by Suman Software Solutions Private Limited. We deal primarily in digital software licenses and professional services. By making a purchase, you acknowledge and agree to the terms below. We encourage you to review this policy before placing an order.
General Rule: All sales of software licenses and activated digital products are final and non-refundable once delivered or activated. Refunds are only issued in the specific circumstances described below.
1 When Refunds Are Applicable
A refund may be considered in the following situations:
Eligible: Non-Delivery Due to Our Error
A refund may be considered only if we are unable to deliver the licensed product or activate the service, and the failure is solely attributable to our error (not due to delays caused by the client, incorrect details provided, pending approvals, or client-side access issues).
Project and service timelines are also subject to timely cooperation, feedback, and approvals from the client. Delays arising from the client's side — including late responses, access not provided, requirement changes, or third-party dependencies — do not constitute non-delivery on our part and are not eligible for a refund. In such cases, we will continue to work toward delivery once the client-side blocker is resolved.
Eligible: Duplicate Payment
If you have been charged more than once for the same order due to a payment system error, the excess amount will be refunded in full after verification.
Eligible: Service Not Commenced (Cancellation)
For customisation or web development projects, if cancellation is requested before work begins, the advance amount paid will be refunded in full. See our Cancellation Policy for details.
Eligible: Order Cancelled by Us
If we cancel your order for reasons such as product unavailability, a full refund of the amount paid will be processed.
2 Non-Refundable Cases
Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances:
- ✕ TallyPrime software license keys that have been activated or registered
- ✕ TSS / annual subscription renewals that have been processed and applied
- ✕ Tally on Cloud services that have been provisioned and accessed
- ✕ AMC contracts once the support period has commenced
- ✕ TDL customisations once delivered and accepted by the customer
- ✕ Web development projects after final delivery and sign-off
- ✕ Orders where the customer provided incorrect details resulting in delivery failure
- ✕ Claims of dissatisfaction after successful delivery without a documented technical defect
- ✕ Change of mind after purchase
3 How to Request a Refund
If you believe you are eligible for a refund, please contact us with the following information:
- • Your full name and registered contact number / email address
- • Invoice / order reference number
- • Product or service name and date of purchase
- • Proof of payment (screenshot or bank statement)
- • Detailed reason for the refund request

5 Refund Method
Approved refunds will be credited to the original payment instrument used (bank account via NEFT/IMPS/RTGS or UPI). If the original payment instrument is no longer valid, please inform us in writing and we will arrange an alternative mode. We do not issue cash refunds.
- • Payment gateway transaction charges (if any) are non-recoverable from the payment processor and may be deducted from the refund amount
- • A credit note may be issued at our discretion in lieu of a direct refund, particularly for service-based disputes where future work is agreed
- • GST paid on the original transaction will be reversed via a credit note / debit note as required under applicable GST regulations
6 Statutory Rights
Nothing contained in this Refund Policy is intended to exclude, limit, or modify any statutory rights or consumer guarantees you may have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any other applicable legislation under Indian law.
