Cancellation Policy

This Cancellation Policy outlines the conditions under which orders and service engagements may be cancelled with Suman Software Solutions Private Limited. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase. As we deal primarily in digital software licenses and professional services, cancellations are subject to the specific terms below.
Important: Once a software license has been activated or a service has commenced, cancellation is generally not possible as the digital product has been consumed. We strongly recommend evaluating your requirements before placing an order.
1 Cancellation Before Delivery
You may request cancellation of an order before the license has been activated or the service has commenced. To do so:
- • Contact us immediately at info@sumansoftware.com or call/WhatsApp (+91) 79776 86537
- • Provide your order reference number, name, and reason for cancellation
- • Cancellation requests must be submitted within 24 hours of payment; if payment is received outside business hours (Monday–Saturday, 10 AM–7 PM IST), the window opens from the start of the next business day
If the cancellation is approved before license activation or service commencement, we will process a refund as per our Refund Policy.
2 Cancellation After Delivery — Product Specific Rules
TallyPrime Software Licenses & TSS Renewals
Once a TallyPrime license key has been delivered and registered/activated against a specific system or account, the order cannot be cancelled. The license is non-transferable and non-refundable as it is immediately consumed upon activation. This is in accordance with Tally Solutions Pvt. Ltd.'s licensing terms.
Tally on Cloud
Cloud subscription cancellations must be submitted at least 15 days before the next billing/renewal date. No refund will be issued for the current active subscription period. Access will continue until the end of the paid period.
TDL Customisation Projects
- • Cancellation before work begins: full refund of any advance paid
- • Cancellation after work has commenced: you will be invoiced for work completed up to the cancellation date; any advance in excess of this will be refunded
- • Cancellation after delivery and sign-off: no refund or cancellation permitted
AMC / Support Contracts
AMC contracts are annual agreements. Once the contract period has commenced, cancellation is not accepted and no pro-rata refund will be issued for unused months.
Web Development Projects
- • Cancellation before project kickoff: full refund of advance
- • Cancellation mid-project: payment for completed milestones will be retained; remaining advance will be refunded
- • Cancellation after final delivery: no refund applicable
3 Cancellations by Us
We reserve the right to cancel an order in the following circumstances:
- • Payment failure or fraudulent transaction detected
- • Inability to verify customer details for license registration
- • Product or service unavailability (in which case a full refund will be issued)
- • Breach of our Terms and Conditions by the customer
In the event we cancel your order, you will be notified promptly and a full refund will be processed where applicable.
4 How to Request Cancellation
To initiate a cancellation request, please provide the following details via email or phone:
- • Full name and registered contact details
- • Order/invoice number
- • Product or service name
- • Reason for cancellation
We will acknowledge your request within 1 business day and communicate our decision within 3 business days.
5 Statutory Rights
Nothing contained in this Cancellation Policy is intended to exclude, limit, or modify any non-excludable statutory rights or consumer guarantees you may have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any other applicable Indian legislation.
